Ivan Gotay

Ivan, son of Jamie Gotay and Maria Rivera Gotay was born on August 20, 1954. The eldest son and second born overall in a family with six children, Ivan was a force to be reckoned with from the get-go.

He was also a loving, family-oriented person. While he never married, Ivan adored his daughter Angie (Rose Angela) and considered himself abundantly blessed to have gotten to spend time with his granddaughter Everly Grace. Also, his nieces, nephews, and extended family meant the world to him, and he filled his home with family photos and memories.

An avid runner and big-time boxing fan, Ivan enjoyed expressing himself artistically whenever he could whether sketching a doodle on a piece of paper or decorating his home. Later in life Ivan became a cat person, and his cats brought him great joy and love in his final days. We will miss him dearly.

Services will be held at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 5 at 11am. Prayers will be greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
