Irene Richard

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Richard, her father, Manuel Zepeda, her first grandchild, Nicholas Gonzalez, grandchild, Joseph Pena and nephew Nathan Suarez. Irene is survived by her mother, Maria Zepeda, children, Angie Aranda and husband, Jay, and baby boy Alex Colunga and wife Crystal; grandchildren, Jorge Porras, Joshua Aranda, Alivia Gonzalez, Olivia Aranda, Alayna Gonzalez, Alexa Gonzalez and R. J. Colunga, siblings, Gloria Medina and husband Bob, Herman, Teresa and Joel Zepeda; special friend, Johnny Salinas and additional family members.

Irene formed a special relationship with the staff and numerous patients during her nearly 18 years with Dr. Deborah Haase, DDS.

Irene was an active member at St. Dominic's Catholic Church and the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. One of her greatest passions was her ministry in the Legion of Mary and serving at both parishes as a Eucharistic Minister.

Please join her family celebrating her life with a visitation from 5pm-9pm, with a rosary at 7pm, on Sunday, April 24th at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be 10am, Monday, April 25th at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1111 St. Joseph Parkway, Houston, TX 77002. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
