Irene Rodriguez Flores

Irene is survived by her husband, Manuel Flores; son Francisco Flores (Retha); son Juan Manuel Flores (Kimberly); and son Sonny Flores (Rubi); brother John Rodriguez (Gladys), brother Abel Rodriguez (Javier), sister Yolanda Martinez (Constantino) and sister Nora Rodriguez (Melecio Guajardo). 11 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.

Irene had a passion for cooking and was famous for her tortillas and tamales. She loved to bake cakes and often made cakes for special family occasions like weddings and quinceañeras. She loved traveling and spending time at by the water. She had a special love for music and her favorite artist was Sonny Ozuna and classic oldies. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family. Irene loved her grandchildren and her home was always filled with kids. Her home was always open to all of the children in the neighborhood that all called her grandma.

Irene was preceded in death by father Humberto Rodriguez and mother Gloria Colunga Rodriguez; brother Jose C Rodriguez and brother Rodolfo Rodriguez.
