Truong lived her life with devotion to faith, family and friends. Truong leaves a legacy of service and generosity to her community – most notably Linh Son Buddhist Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dang Huu Thiem, and her son, Dang Hoang Thu.
Truong is survived by her five children; Tung Dang and wife Thu Ha, Trang Dang and husband Tuan Bui, Kim Dang, My Nguyen and husband Mac, Tai Dang and wife Priscilla. Other survivors include her
six grandchildren of whom she was most proud: Myra Nguyen and husband, Jeff Jackson, Jonathan Dang and wife Ha, Eric Nguyen, Emily Nguyen, Jennifer Dang and Melissa Dang as well as one
great-grandson, Landon Jackson. In addition, she is survived by two sisters and one brother.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, October 18 at 10:00 a.m. Burial service will be private for immediate family following the funeral service. All events will take place at the Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park located at 2454 S Dairy Ashford Houston, TX 77077.
In lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the American Stroke Association, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
