He is preceded in death by his loving wife Ellen, parents Bernece and Buck McCoy, and beloved sisters Nelda Greeson and Glenda Stokes.
Henry’s career in the contract office furniture industry began in the 1950’s working at Wilson Stationery & Printing. He went on to found McCoy Installation Service in 1972, known today as McCoy Inc.
Like all grandparents, he adored his grandchildren and they brought him so much happiness. He was their biggest fan watching them play sports and attended every game possible regardless of what city it was in. He loved fishing, playing golf and gardening. He also loved talking, telling stories, and was always ready to help anyone that needed it. He was a loyal, hardworking, loving and supportive father and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sister Billie Thompson, daughters Rosana Ketner and husband Max, Maureen McCoy and Amy McCoy. Grandchildren Courtney Steinberg and husband Joe, Whitney Floyd and husband Patrick, Alexandra Wegs, Kali Beal and husband Jonathan, Nicholas McCoy and wife Katie, Emily Wegs, eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and numerous loving family and friends.
Pallbearers are Humberto Aguilar, Dennis Alexander, Jonathan Beal, Patrick Floyd, Kenny Riels and Joe Steinberg.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers, and to honor Henry, to make a gift to the Alzheimer’s Association-Capital of Texas.
