Henry was adventurous, loving, and always had the sweetest smile on his face despite his diagnosis of Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. His heart was always bigger than life no matter what the doctors said. Growing up, Henry enjoyed playing t-ball and being a Boy Scout. He loved playing video games with his Uncle Jacob and older brother, Hunter. In the summer, he loved to swim whether it be at a family member’s house or on the Blue Marlins swim team. Henry was a parishioner at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where he was baptized, received his first communion, and confirmed. He attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, Assumption Catholic School, graduated from New Heights Christian Academy in 2020, and was continuing his education at Houston Community College. Henry began his working career at Domino’s Pizza and Pengu Swim School. He was also the older brother to two brothers and four sisters who looked up to him and thought the world of him. Henry never met a person that did not like him and was a helping and caring young man. He helped care for his brothers and sisters and would help any family member whether it be with moving, yard work, or taking care of their pet. Henry’s last wish was to be an organ donor and was able to help four people with his gift of life. Henry was a kind soul taken too soon and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Henry was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Alice Marie Tally McKinney and William Henry “Mac” McKinney. He is survived by his mother, Dawn, seven siblings, Hunter, Selvie, Shylee, Jimmie, Braylee, Gunner, and Alyna, his grandmother, Mary Jane, his uncle, Jacob and wife Charlotte, his cousins, Maximus and Aurora, and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and coworkers.
