Per her wishes, her ashes will kept in the Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
Helen was born on March 10, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of Peter
Klimas and Diana Kozlawski. When her father died at a young age, her mother
married her late husband's best friend, Michael Slavin, who adopted her in 1941
and raised her as his own daughter.
She served as Editor-In-Chief of her High School newspaper.
Helen lived for the past 66 years in Houston, Texas and raised three sons.
She spent over 30 years at AT&T working as a service representative and test
desk tech. She enjoyed fishing offshore in the Gulf of Mexico with her mother
and collecting dolls and antiques.
Her family expresses their love and gratitude for the devotion and care she
gave them over her lifetime.
She is survived by her children, Glen (Bradleigh) LeBlanc, Dallas, Texas and
Gary LeBlanc, Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren, Peyton LeBlanc and Erin
LeBlanc. Helen was preceded in death by her mother, father, and son Larry LeBlanc.
