Helen Louise Barnett, 89, entered eternal rest on June 8, 2019 in Orange, Texas. She was born March 16, 1930. Helen worked most of her life as a beautician and loved to go to the nursing home to style the ladies' hair.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband: Elton Barnett; children: Juanita Diann Bodden and Cecil Halbert; siblings: Amanda “Tiny” Chambers and Floyd “Stubby” Nunn; grandson: Matthew Bodden. Left to cherish her memory, daughter: Debra Murray & husband Phil; grandchildren: Nelson Bodden & wife Jessica, PJ Murray; great grandchildren: Dihanna Bodden, Noah Bodden, Alexander Bodden, Bianka Bodden, Piper Bodden, and Daxon Bodden.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 1pm with the funeral service to begin promptly at 2pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, TX 77039. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
