Hector De Leon

Hector M. De Leon, born August 9, 1938 in Allende Nuevo Leon Mexico passed away April 4, 2016 in Houston Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nieves De Leon; daughter, Idalia Vasquez; granddaughter, Lillian Beard and grandson, B.J. Gonzalez. Hector will be greatly missed by his children, Oralia De Leon, Elisa Zapata and husband Alfredo, Iliana Gonzalez and husband J. Guadalupe, Hector M. De Leon Jr. and wife Laura; son-in-law, Alfonso Vasquez Jr.; grandchildren, Vanessa Laird and husband Curtis II, Monica Zapata and husband Luis Lara, Veronica Rios and husband Pablo, Dezarie Gillamac and husband Ramon, Alfonso Vasquez and wife Tania, Esmeralda Gonzalez, Emillie De Leon and husband David Ortiz, Virginia Vasquez, Hector M. De Leon III, Alfredo A. Zapata III, Orizel Gonzalez and Casey Beard; ten great grandchildren; sister, Rosalinda De Leon and numerous nieces and nephews in Mexico.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Brookside Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 am Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Brookside Funeral Home with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
