HB was born at the family home in Tullahoma, Tennessee. He started working at a young age on a nearby dairy farm. The family later purchased a farm outside of town where he worked with his step-father R.J. Carroll, raising tobacco. Several years later, the family left the farm for work in Michigan.
HB enlisted in the Tennessee National Guard. He worked as an Auto Mechanic and Utility Lineman. He later became co-owner of a small auto repair business. HB enjoyed gardening and fishing.
HB is preceded in death by his parents, step-father, brother, JT Prosser, and son Stephen Prosser. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and caring wife, Peggy Prosser, daughter, Kim Smith and husband Ron, sons, Robert Prosser and wife Gina, Hugh Prosser, grandchildren, Brittany Robinson, Tanner Smith, Samantha Prosser, Bobbi Prosser, sister, Dorothy Prosser Clark and many loving friends and family.
