Hattie Elizabeth Lamza, age 92, passed away on September 15, 2023. She was born on September 21, 1930 in Booth, Texas to Vincent Gorka and Elizabeth Kaminski Gorka. Hattie was the youngest of 13 children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert Eugene, son Stuart, her 12 brothers and sisters and their spouses, along with some of her nieces and nephews. Hattie is survived by her loving daughter Kristen Ann Towne and husband Patrick, granddaughter Ashley Michelle Villalon and husband Bryan, grandson Andrew Patrick Towne and countless nieces, nephews and other relatives. Hattie attended A. P. George Elementary School, Richmond High School, and graduated from Sam Houston High School. She attended Del Mar College where she mastered typing and shorthand leading to a career as a secretary.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, September 21, 2023 and graveside services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 2:00pm all at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home.
