Mr. Wheat was a man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He particularly enjoyed hunting, archery, sailing, and making knives. He loved going to dinner club, poker, and Friday nights at April Sound.
He is survived by his daughters, Judy Roach and Jan Keegan; granddaughter, Kimberly Roach Overall; grandsons, Quad Roach, Sean Keegan, Kiffer Keegan, Patrick Keegan, and Michael Keegan; and seven great-grandchildren.
The memorial service is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Thursday, the 10th of November, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
Prior to the service, the family will have gathered for a private interment at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
