Gorgonio Antonio Murillo

Antonio was born to Daniel Murillo and Amelia Rivera, January 18, 1950, in Pharr, Texas. He married Maria Olga Requena in 1970, and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised five children.

Antonio is survived by his wife, Maria Olga Requena Murillo; his children: Maria Olga Murillo Solano, husband Edward Solano, Rosemary Renovato, husband Paul Renovato Jr., Antonio Murillo Jr., Daniel Murillo and Mark Anthony Murillo; his grandchildren: Bianca Olga Solano Gassaway, husband Timothy W. Gassaway II, Edward Solano II, Jennifer Marie Renovato, Paul Michael Renovato, John Paul Renovato, Daniel Murillo Jr., and Mark Anthony Murillo Jr.; his siblings: Jose Eduardo Murillo, Jesus Murillo, Guadelupe Murillo, Daniel Murillo, Socorro Soto, Luz Sanchez, Amelia Murillo and Blanca Murillo.

Antonio was preceded in death by Daniel Murillo (father), Amelia Rivera (mother) and Rosa Maria Jimenez (sister).

Antonio worked as a carpenter for KBR, CBRE and Local Union 213 over the past 56 years. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, dancing, barbecuing with his family and was always cracking jokes. He had a witty sense of humor and always spoke of his family and friends with great admiration and respect.

A Celebration of Life mass is scheduled for Saturday, November 12th, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. at Resurrection Catholic Church located at 915 Zoe St., Houston, Texas 77020.
