Gloria survived by her beloved husband Russell Millard Reider, who she was married to for 67 years. She is also survived by her son Mark Reider of Katy Texas, and her daughter Carolyn Carlson and her husband John of Allen, TX, along with her 2 grandchildren, Megan and Lauren Carlson.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gladys Stevens, her brother Charles Stevens Jr (Sonny) and her son Russell M Reider Jr (Rusty).
Gloria loved music, singing and playing the piano, doing stained glass, going to Bible study, reading and later in life, reminiscing through photos. She also loved to sit in her backyard enjoying the cardinals, hummingbirds, squirrels and many flowers. Perhaps her greatest joy was having grand daughters to spoil and watch grow up. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held for Gloria on Saturday, January 6th at 11:00 at Christ The Servant Lutheran Church, 2400 Wilcrest Dr, Houston, TX 77042.
