Glenn McCarthy Robinson

Glenn McCarthy Robinson, 74, of Houston, transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Born in Houston, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Robinson and Sarah Mae Robinson. Glenn graduated from George Washington Carver High School in Houston, Texas.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Robert Lee Robinson Jr., Morris Robinson,

Michael Earl Robinson and Johnny Ray Robinson.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Dorothy Robinson; five children and their families, Ava Slaughter and her

husband, Steve; Adrienne Jarvis and her husband, Irving; Glennette Robinson, Glenn Robinson Jr. and his

wife, Towanna; and Tamitri Wolfe and her husband, Arnold. Glenn is also survived by his sisters, Sarah

Ann Robinson, Easter Mae Robinson and a host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces,

Nephews, In-Laws, Extended Family and Friends.

Glenn McCarthy Robinson will be deeply missed, and his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of

all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and compassion he so generously shared throughout his amazing life. Until we meet again.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church,

5801 West Montgomery Road, Houston, TX 77091 with Pastor Cedric Young officiating. Visitation will be

held one hour prior to the service from 10:00am to 11:00 am.
