Gerald David Westbrook was born May 25, 1934 to Vernon and Nettie Westbrook in Dialville, TX. He went to be with his Lord on November 4, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Dan Nicholson and son-in-law, Randy Newport.
Gerald will be greatly missed by his wife of 57 years, Sherley Westbrook; children, Debbie Hall and husband Bobby, Karen Newport, and Steve Riley and wife Karen; grandchildren, Kimberly Hall, Kelli Hudson and husband Greg, David Hall and wife Mindy, Jordan Riley and Cason Riley; great grandchildren, Randy Waldron, Cameron Hall and Kenadi Hall (whom will be joining us in birth on November 17, 2010); sister, Marjorie Nicholson; nephews, Danny Nicholson and Steve Nicholson.
The family of Mr. Westbrook would like to send a very sincere and special thanks to Dr. Kelty Baker and her staff for their patience, optimism, hope and empathy in the care and life of our beloved Gerald. Also a warm “Thank You” to the staff at Cell and Gene Therapy @ Methodist Hospital.
Gerald was also a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for a number of years, where he served on the Rabbit Committee and the Directions and Tour committee. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and was a member of the Cut N Shoot Harley Owner Group for over 10 years. He and his wife Sherely were Historian for the Cut N Shoot Group for several years.
