Gabriel Rodriguez

"Gabriel “Gabe” Rodriguez of Cypress, TX, was a caring father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He left the world suddenly on November 27, 2022 at the age of 55 after suffering a heart attack.

Gabriel was born to Luis and Susie Rodriguez on July 7, 1967 in Corpus Christi, TX. After graduating high school, Gabriel served in the United States Army from 1985 to 1988. He received Army Achievement and Good Conduct medals during his military service. After his service, he worked in the telecommunications field. He remained a patriot long after his military service. He was passionate about political matters and an avid supporter of the 2nd amendment.

Gabriel was a quiet, caring and simple man who enjoyed listening to rock music, playing the guitar, and spending time with his sons and dogs. He was an avid Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a loving and devoted father to his two sons, who were his pride and joy. He was an inspiration to others to be the best you can be and in whatever you do, to give it your all. He was kind and funny and had lifelong friends, including one of his best friends, Guy Davis who also recently passed.

Gabriel is survived by his two sons Zack Rodriguez and Josh Rodriguez. He is also survived by his mother, Susie Rodriguez, and father, Luis Rodriguez. He is survived by his siblings, Laura Rodriguez and Olivia Zuniga; his nieces, Candice Rodriguez and Amanda Zuniga. He is preceded in death by his aunt Rosa Pineda and numerous other maternal and paternal family members.
