Visitation will be 5-8 pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Earthman’s Funeral Home located at 8303 Katy Fwy. Houston, Texas 77024.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Earthman’s Funeral Home with Pastor Kenton Pate, officiating. Burial will follow at the Houston National Cemetery on Veterans Memorial. Arrangements are by Earthman’s.
Frank “Frankie” was born in Houston, Texas to Gregory Ferrata and Denise Ferrata-Landry on November 3, 1984. He went to school at Nimitz and Westfield High, and graduated with his diploma from the Houston Learning Academy in 2003. Frankie was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served as an outstanding Machine Gunner. He was awarded Good Conduct Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Letter of Appreciation, and Rifle Expert Badge. He was very involved in the VA and an active member of Camp Hope.
Frank “Frankie” is preceded in death by his father, Gregory Ferrata; his grandparents, Franklin and Alice Richardson, his grandmother, Jeanne Ferrata, and the mother of his child, Amber Elkins.
Frank “Frankie” is survived by his beautiful daughter, Ava Nicole Ferrata (age 6), his mother, Denise Ferrata-Landry, his sisters, Ashley Ferrata, Daphne Landry, Kayleigh Ferrata, and brother, Barrett Ferrata.
