Francisco (Frank) Moreno, age 66, was called to enter the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Frank was born on October 4, 1955, the fourth youngest of 12 children, to Juan and Natalia Moreno in Edinburg, Texas. He graduated from Edinburg High School in 1974 and proudly served his country in the US Army from 1976 to 1979.
Frank married the love of his life and soulmate, Rosario Moreno, on May 8, 1982. He was blessed with three children, who can testify that their father’s love for them was a reflection of God’s unconditional love, even at times when they fell short of his expectations. He was saved by God’s grace at Iglesia Bautista Victoria on August 12, 1991. Frank loved God, his family, and career at Siemens until his retirement in 2019. Although he had a naturally quiet and reserved demeanor that even seemed intimidating at times, he was actually quite the comedian and enjoyed a great laugh. Words will never be able to capture what a wonderful, selfless, and loving man he was to all those around him.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents and five brothers. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosario, of 40 years, children, Corina (Emmanuel), Aaron (Melissa), Annabel (Manuel), 13 grandchildren whom he adored, four sisters, and two brothers. His earthly departure has left a deep void in the hearts of those who loved him and he will be sorely missed.
