Frances Marie Wood

She met Frank Wood in Houston and married August 10th. Frances had a career in Nursing for 40 years. She was a member of United Pentecostal Church had a passion for serving the Lord, family, she loved to sew, cook, and various activities.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Frank Wood; son, Melvin Glenn Fawcette; parents, Fannie Mae Price, and Harvey Lee Price; brothers, James Everett Price, and Roy Wayne Price.

Frances is survived by her son, James Michael Fawcete; daughter-in-law, Johanna Lynn Fawcette; grandchildren, Jame Fawcette, Amanda Bergeron (Josh), Natalie Wilson (Earl), Jeffery Fawcette (Sheri), Brandi Hicks (Jesse Deloach), and Johnny Hicks; 21 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; brother, Arlan Price (Darnelle); along with numerous nephews, and nieces.

Serving as pallbearers are Josh Bergeron, Johnny Hicks, James Fawcette, Royce Price, and Jeffery Fawcette.

A visitation for Frances will be held Monday, May 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, May 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Monday, May 13, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
