Frances Marie Jorgenson peacefully passed away into the hands of our Lord on October 10, 2024. She was born in Houston, Tx. on November 23, 1941 to Aaron and Tracy Curtis. She graduated from Jesse H. Jones High School in 1960. On January 28, 1961, Frances married the love of her life, Sammy Jorgenson, at Foster Place United Methodist Church. They had one son.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents (Aaron and Tracy Curtis), Brother-in-law (Jimmy Jorgenson), husband (Sammy Jorgenson), and great grandson (Ty Davis). She is survived by her son, Sammy II and his wife Janet; two grandchildren, Josh, and Diane and her husband Trevor; one great grandchild, Ethan, who she loved dearly. Two sisters, Barbara Richey, and Anna Mae Russell and her husband Nunley; Brother-in-law Michael Jorgenson and his wife Danna; Sister-in-law Dorothy Jorgenson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
After marriage she worked off and on at numerous jobs, but she was mainly a homemaker.
Frances was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Pasadena, Tx. for many years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peace Lutheran Church (6435 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, Tx. 77505) in memory of Frances Jorgenson.
Pallbearers will be Michael Jorgenson, Doni Soward, Brandon Lloyd, Nunley Russell Jr. (Bubba), Chat Malloy, and Matthew Russell.
