All about his family!

Love and miss you so much Eric!

I always use to joke about how come you were so tan and I was so white. I always use to say, “no fair why you got all the melanin.” And you always made it a point to say, “ don’t be jealous of my sexy skin.” Hahha man I’m going to miss us picking on each other and laughing till we cried. You always knew how to make me laugh and I always loved when you’d called me a dork cause I knew that was your way of telling me how funny I was too ❤️

This is one of my favorite memories with you, mom & our brother Gabriel. We went out to eat at Yard House in City centre. We had such a good time!!! We started making beats at the table with the silver wear, glasses and tables. You were flowin and mom was singing and we even got Gibs to join in. Even after dinner we walked around making music and Joked about making a you tube channel with showcasing our music skills. You were so talented!!!

It was never a boring time with you.  Laughter was our language.

Death leaves a pain no one can heal... love leaves a memory that no one can steal. Forever my brother & best friend. I know you’ll always be looking out for me like always. Till I see you again my handsome brother <3

Remembering that family trip to Lake Travis after we left Austin. It was so beautiful & the water was freezing cold but that didn’t stop you from getting in! You were the only one who got in and we all looked at you laughing like Mann he’s crazy ol Eric, gotta love him. 

My sweet brother, I will miss you so much. I remember when we we younger I always looked up to you and you have shaped so much of who I am today... I’ll never forget that. 


Eric was like a son to me and a big brother to many children. He had a kind heart and meant the world to his mom. Eric is a talented musician on keyboards and bongos & he is lyrically amazing! He has a way of putting words together in a positive way. I say is because I know God is using his talent to teach other Angels.

Bonnie and I miss jamming out with you Eric! We miss your laugh, your conversation and your awesome smile! We also miss BBQ's with you, your a great cook!

Eric you are greatly missed until we see each other again. You are with us always.

I will forever miss my loving big brother. He was the most compassionate, sweet, down to earth man I knew. He always had my back and protected me from any harm that tried to come my way. I always felt safe when I was with him. The memories I share with him will last a lifetime and I will cherish them always. Especially the time we went for a bike ride thru downtown. One of the best days I ever had, it was full of laughs and adventure and will forever be a day I’ll never forget. Love you always big bro, watch over us and I hope to see you waiting for me at those pearly gates one day.

I miss you you smile cousin and I wish I could hug you just one more time and say goodbye. I know you are in a place free from pain now and that brings me peace. I love you. 

I have plenty of memories of Eric from our family parties, funny jokes he would say, or him showing me his music he was so proud of , but what stuck with me most about Eric is he cared for his family so much. He always asked me how everything was going and genuinely cared and wanted to know. It wasn’t the easy conversation of just saying “how are you” and the usual response of “good”.

Eric was an amazing person. He accepted me into his family & became my friend. I remember all of the times where he would call me to talk about his niece, Makayla. He loved her very much and was always there ready to be her super hero if she needed him. Eric was always there for his family and always spread positivity and love. He had a great sense of humor and a competitive spirit. We would always talk about working out and boxing, and were always trying to best one another. Eric was a great man and a great friend. I love you Eric, and we’ll meet again one day. So you better be ready.

Eric was very talented and sure wasn't shy on the camera/ microphone !! - countless times  you might have even seen em do karrokkee /open mic night  out the blue  !! Shine upon us Fam  4 now ur in GOD's  army!!  we love you Eric Angelo Sanchez always !!   

Eric Angelo Sanchez,

My beautiful son in Heaven. I haven't written you yet because it's been so hard, but I have been told it may help so here I go. 

Life without you feels empty and sad. I miss your laughter, smile, love for life, encouragement, kindness and consideration. 

Tomorrow is Mother's day and I wish you and I could sing and have another jam session together. I admire your writing & rap skills, your ability to pick up an instrument and play it, especially the piano & organ. You are truly gifted. I have the songs you wrote for me and your friends Zackery and Jett.  If I don't die of a broken heart I'm am going to try and get them produced for you. I know you always wanted to get your songs in a recording studio, I will work on this for you.  You are so awesomely talented, it tears my heart apart that you didn't get a chance to express  yourself the way you deserve.

I'm not going to sugar coat it, this life I am left to live without you will not be easy but I will try and stay strong for those who are counting on me.  

It is  the most difficult thing in the world to lose a child, sometimes I feel like I can't breath and my heart is crushing inside.  I pray that someday it will get better but right now I need you to help me. If you can visit like you have in your own way please continue. I need your strength because most days I have none.

I love you Eric so much that words can't even describe it. I miss you so much and hate that you can't be a part of our families future memories. The only thing that keeps me going are your signs, they helps me remember that there is a higher power. I know we will be together again. Nothing will keep us apart.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about my cousin. Eric was one of a kind. One of the most kind and caring souls I've ever met, probably that any of us have ever met. I have so so many great memories of him from my childhood up to just a week before he passed. He was always like a second brother to me and he always looked after me and cared about me. He loved to talk and I would give anything to hear him blab on about anything just one more time. Or hear him be just a little too loud with whatever joke he was telling at a restaurant regardless of anyone around us.  Or hear him rap and be his goofy self just one more time. All of these moments are things that I hold close to my heart and cherish so much.  I wish I had hugged him just a little bit longer the last time I saw him and made sure he knew how loved he was. I know we will all see him again and I find peace in that. His physical body may no longer be with us but I feel him always, especially when I'm with my family and his spirit continues to live on through us, it always will. He will never be forgotten and he is endlessly loved.  Eric has taught me to be more loving, caring, forgiving and appreciative of those around me at all moments.

Wow!!! It's been a little over a month that you went to be with the Lord and I still cannot believe it. Its Easter weekend and I actually found my self wondering f you would be calling me to come get you or asking what we would be doing. You loved celebrations, especially your birthday.  I have so many memories of you that there just isn't enough space. Many in your childhood but even sweeter ones when you became an adult.  I miss your phone calls to check and see how I am doing .  I miss you coming over and always ready to help me with anything. You were always concerned about how I was .  Eric even when you had the weight of the world on your shoulders, you encouraged me and always said things will be alright.  You called me your second mom and thanked me constantly for always being there for you.  Our latest conversation was about what your purpose in life was.  We talked about scriptures. We talked about you pleading the blood of Jesus over yourself everyday. You said you might want to be a preacher or maybe work with young troubled youth. You had a heart of gold and you never talked bad about anyone, which is very rare.  You struggled but you kept your head held high. I will cherish all of our conversations.  I will miss your loud snores from my couch. And let's not forget your Teriyaki chicken!!! You had such a heart for children and you were amazing with Jaxon, Jaden and Jazlin and of course Mason.  I appreciate all the time you played games with Jaxon,  you  would make him so happy. Eric although you are physically gone you will always be here with us in spirit. Family gathering will not be the same without you here however I know that family gathering continuing would be what you want. You have brought me back to family. For a long time I was so hurt that family didn't matter anymore but you changed that for me and that also was one of our last conversations.  Thank you for that gift. Until we meet again sweet soul. I LOVE YOU, your tia.

My sweet cousin Bonnie, Gabriel, Mandie, and little Mason.  I know Eric through you and your love for him.  Thank you for sharing his life and your loving words with family and friends. In this way I feel I did get know about Eric’s love for his family, his talents, his amazingly beautiful heart. 
He was a loving son, brother and uncle. 
He was a true friend to so many who are feeling his loss.

I remember how we met. You just walked up and made conversation. We both had a beer in hand. We became good friends. That was early 2004. We kicked it a lot. Scraped up change and went in on 40oz of beer many times. We drank from the same bottle . It didn’t matter bc We were tight. I miss those days. I never met anyone else like you. Very deep and passionate about life. We connected on many topics. There are many shallow and selfish people in this world. You were not of of them. I never heard anything negative come from you, always looking on the brighter side.  A quality not many people have. Till again old friend. Rounds on me

Eric I remember when I first met you with your mom Plains Christmas party your mom was so proud of you she introduced you and spoke how you was a great rapper and as I got to know you even better  you was a very caring mild manner young man I saw a lot of my own son in you so then own I thought of you as my own son. You will forever be remembered RIH

Eric, siempre una sonrisa. Always a smile. A heartfelt smile that grabbed your heart and embraced it. 
I remember the fun we used to have recollecting memories, spitting the dopest lyrics over instrumentals, talking about our families and how we would make them proud, etc. Having a good friend like you made living a little easier. I wish I had just ten more seconds to embrace you homie. One last hug my brother.

Eric Sanchez, he was caring an loving boyfriend, he was alway there for me an my daughters. eric had a big heart an he wonderful soul.he always make me smile an make me laugh. i love Eric Sanchez with all my heart and soul. i told Eric that i thank god for sending him into my life an i was bless to have him in my life. i told Eric he had a heart of gold.i enjoy our conversation an everything we did together. To my beautiful nephew Eric, may you Rest In Peace. My heart is broken and it’s hard for me to comprehend that we will never see the smile that filled  your WHOLE face again. I wish you all the peace you searched for in your life. I want you to know that we loved you so much. The laughs ( your dorky jokes) we shared, the dancing in the kitchen and the singing off pitch will always be remembered. You brought joy sweet boy. With a heart as big as Texas you are what we all should be. Kind, forgiving, loving and passionate. You never entered or left a room without saying I love you and giving a huge hug which I will always remember to do now. Your life made a difference in so many life’s. We are all better for having known you. Rest now sweetie for your struggle is over and peace is upon you.
