Eric Eugene Parker

Eric Eugene Parker was born on September 4, 1973 and died unexpectedly on July 3, 2013. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. Surviving him are his parents, Bryant and Dolores Parker; his brother, Kevin and wife, Amy, and his two nieces, Emma & Molly Parker; his brother, Brad and wife, Rachel, and his nephew, Kyle Parker. Also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Eric loved his nieces and nephew and enjoyed spending time with them. He attended schools in Fort Bend County - Meadows Elementary, Dulles Middle School and Dulles High School. His love of sports started at an early age when he played soccer and basketball during his middle and high school years. You could always find him watching his favorite college football teams on weekends during the season. He loved being with his family and looked forward to family gatherings where you could find him playing dominoes - Texas 42. He also enjoyed going to Coushatta Casino in Louisiana and fishing when he found the time. Eric enjoyed working for Southwest Airlines just completing his 18th year. He had many friends & co-workers who will undoubtedly miss him. He leaves a void in all our lives and hearts and will be missed forever; especially by his brothers and their frequent conversations. The family will receive friends at 5pm with a rosary recited at 6pm followed by a memorial service at 7pm on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Donations can be made to the YMCA or a charity of your choice.
