

Enilda Rios, born November 5, 1920 in Uruguay, South America, passed away March 6, 2011 after a long illness from congestive heart failure. She spent her childhood in Uruguay and Brazil, married at the age of 21, and moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina. She raised 5 children, moved back to Uruguay, then to the USA in 1969. Along with her husband, she dedicated the last 60 years of her life to the Gospel of God - serving, teaching and reading to others for Christ – throughout South America and the United States. She loved gardening, knitting and crocheting. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Enilda was preceded in death by: her parents and siblings. She is survived by: her husband, Mario C. Rios, Sr.; children, Elsa and Dr. Luis Matteo, Peggy and Rev. Walter Silva, Mario and Maggie Rios, Luis and Joanna Rios, Alicia Sylsberry-Web and Henry Web; grandchildren, Adriana and Chris Grandhold, Patricia and Hector Westry, Daniel and Ashley Matteo, Shirley and Roy Madox, Shanda and Lance Hernandez, Daniel Rios, Kevin Rios, Karen Rios, Darrin Rios, Ezekiel Arnold, Elijah Arnold, Joshua Rios; great-grandchildren, Chelsie, Gabby, Taylor, Shane, Victoria, Valerie, Alexis, Kylee, Andrew, John, Evin, Nathan, and Luke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Missionary Clearing House, P.O. Box 219228, Houston, Tx 77218, a building fund in Uruguay.
