Ella Mae Ross

She attended Lincoln High School in Cold Spring Texas. She moved to Houston, Texas in 1956. Ella attended Kashmere High School where she graduated and was voted the most beautiful of her class.

Ella married Coach Olga Ross on August 20, 1979; they were happily married until he departed this life on April 26, 2001.

Ella was the fourth child of seven children. To which three brothers preceded her in death; Steven, Willie James Jr. (Puddin), Herman Eckford (BB). Ella was the mother of one son who also preceded her in death, Benjamin Jeffery Eckford.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her brother John Earl Eckford, two sisters Liza J. Tippitt and Mary L. Martin, two nieces; Jamie Martin and Denetria Moreno (Kevin Moreno) who are also her God Daughters, Lester Carroll who was a very special nephew and preceded her death and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Ellas was also a former employee of Lockwood Funeral Home, and also worked for many years in the medical field as a Medical Secretary.
