Edward Melvin Green passed away on November 10, 2014 at the age of 75. He was born January 24, 1939 in Bell County, Texas. He retired from Harris County after 30 plus years as Data Processing Manager of the Harris County Tax Office. His favorite pastimes were bowling and trips to Vegas to play poker. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Green and Lora Schmitt Green. He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Green and Jennifer Green; son Everett Green and wife, Jenny Green; grandsons, Eli Green and Wyatt Green; former wife, Nancy Green and brother, Wayne Green. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 5-8 pm at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Heights Funeral Home, interment to follow at Houston National Cemetery.
