Douglas Roberts, born December 28, 1922, passed away June 3, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Matt and Lula Bell Roberts; first wife, Edna Merle Roberts; and sister, Ruby Ticknor. Douglas is survived by his wife, Ruby Roberts; children, James Douglas Roberts of Willis, TX, Beverly Roberts Poole of Hockley, TX, and Charles Phillip Roberts of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Billy, Joey, Chad, Pamela, Kenny, and Bryan; and 9 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Heights Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
