Doris Rose Wiede Dyess Mellor, 80, of Pearland and formerly of Houston, Georgetown and Brenham, Texas passed away on August 5, 2017. Doris was born in Brenham on October 24, 1936.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gus and Lena Wiede, older brothers Gene and Howard, and husbands Harold Dyess and Roy Mellor.
She is survived by her sister Mary Ann Holligan and husband Lowell; sons Jeffrey Dyess and wife Nanette and Mark Dyess; granddaughters Christen Reyenga and husband Beau, Kimberly Waddell and Callison Dyess; great-granddaughters Harper Reyenga and Wren Reyenga and nephew David Holligan.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 on Saturday, August 12, 2017, in the chapel at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery with a reception to follow.
