Domingo Gonzalez, 84, born April 20, 1937, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, June 6, 2021. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years Rosemary Gonzalez; parents: Juan and Juana Gonzalez; brother: Gilbert Gonzalez; sisters: Lupe Rosas and Clemintina Rios; son: Carlos Garcia; granddaughters: Lisa Skuchko and Amanda Garcia; grandsons: Byron H. Swindle, III and Paul Kologinczak.
He is survived by his brother: Gonzalo Gonzalez; children: Cyndi and Alonzo Soza, JoAnn Swindle, Mary E. Gonzalez, Gail and Tony Rosas, Mary and Carlos Morris, Tammie and Mark Garcia, Diane and John Odom; daughter-in-law: Vivian Garcia; grandchildren: Joseph Swindle, Evan Swindle, Sarah Reyes, Adam Navarro, Jacob Rosas, Rosemarie Juarez, Samantha Murillo, Julia Garza, Ruben Gonzales, Pete Perez, Jr., Jennifer Perez, Angela Perez, Melissa Clemons, Karina Garcia, and Carolina Garcia; along with 23 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Alonzo Soza, Joseph Swindle, Evan Swindle, Pete Perez, Jr., Adam Navarro, Tony Rosas, Mark Garcia, and Jacob Rosas.
Visitation for family and friends will begin on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 6pm to 9pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 beginning at 10:30am. All services will take place at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039. Interment to follow immediately after the funeral service in Brookside Memorial Park.
