Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched throughout her short, yet very memorable life.
She was born in Vietnam in 1976. She came to the United States and lived in Houston since she was 17 years old. After graduating from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, she worked as a software developer and later promoted to a data engineering team leader.
She balanced her life between working hard and enjoying life.
She was strong, independent, incredibly energetic and vibrant. She loved her family and friends, and always took care of those in need. She loved kids and spoiled her nephews and niece. She enjoyed traveling with friends, dancing, riding bike, exercising, and enjoying good food. Her latest accomplishment was completing a half marathon in October.
She is survived by her mother Nu Ha; father Soi Nguyen, sisters Lynh Nguyen and Tina Ha Nguyen; 2 nephews Justin Nguyen and Ryan Luu; and niece Katelyn Nguyen.
Diem will be desperately missed by all of her friends and family .
Our hearts are broken by this unexpected loss. She was one of the kindest souls, and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.
She leaves to mourn her memory a host of family and friends.
