Diana Lynn Rodriguez

Diana Lynn Rodriguez, age 64, of Houston, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023. She was born in Houston, Texas on September 30, 1958 to parents Enrique Henry G. Rodriguez and Hilda E. Moreno Valdez.

Diana attended Forest Brook High School. She had a career in the Parts Department at Tommie Vaughn Ford for numerous years.

Diana never met a stranger, she was always there to give a word of encouragement or just to listen. Diana's pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, her great grand dog, King and great grand cats Rory and Riley. Her quirky sense of humor will be missed. Diana accepted Christ at a young age and her faith never wavered, God was always the head of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Enrique Henry G. Rodriguez and Hilda E. Moreno Valdez; siblings, Henry Rodriguez Jr. and his wife Lena Hernandez, brother Larry Rodriguez and his wife Maria, son Joseph J. Carmouche; great granddaughter Nevaeh Davis; nephew Chris Rodriguez; niece Laurie Ann Rodriguez; aunt Rosalinda and her husband Raymond Sanchez.

She is survived by her daughter, Shantia Carmouche; sons, Anthony Carmouche, James Green and wife Sylvia; grandchildren Saviahn Carmouche, Derrell Moore, Londyn Carmouche, Myles Davis, Asia Carmouche, Megan Quintanilla, Valerie Thomas; siblings Horacio Rodriguez (Roberta); sister-in-law Rose Mary, brother Randy Rodriguez (Diana) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Derrell Moore, Eric Mendoza, John Burchfield, Clinton Washington, Simon Alvarez and Bryan Carmouche Sr.

A visitation for Diana will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a funeral service from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
