It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dennis Arthur Farine, who left us on Tuesday, December 24th, 2024. A beloved resident of Cypress, Texas, Dennis was a man whose warmth, humor, and kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Dennis was born on April 14th, 1962, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Ronald and Diane Farine. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald, but his legacy of love and connection lives on through his family.
He leaves behind his devoted wife, Karen; his cherished daughter, Erica (George), and Dennis’s grandson, Logan; and his dear stepdaughter, Erin (Eugene). Dennis is also survived by his loving mother, Diane, and his brothers, Mark (Cindy), Paul (Lisa), and Ron (Jennifer), and their children, Matthew and Dominic, each of whom shared deep bonds of sibling love and camaraderie with him.
Dennis had an extraordinary ability to bring joy wherever he went. His bright smile was always the centerpiece of any room, radiating a contagious positivity that uplifted those around him. With a sharp wit, a touch of playful sarcasm, and a heart that cherished time spent with friends and family, Dennis was a steadfast source of laughter and love in the lives of many.
His memory will be celebrated by all who were lucky enough to know him as a man who made the world a little brighter simply by being in it.
Dennis's viewing will take place at Brookside Funeral Home in Cypress Creek, TX, on Friday, December 27th, at 2:00 PM. A celebration of life service will follow in Ohio in January; details forthcoming.
Dennis, who knew that during all those trips to Mr. Hero in Ohio, the real hero was sitting right there with us?
