Dennis Lloyd Clark was born May 21, 1957 in Shepherd, Texas and unexpectedly passed away in his home in Houston, Texas, October 14, 2021 at the age of 64. Born to Milford Clark and Peggy Carroll; Dennis was the middle child of 3 and is survived by his sister Debra Hollingsworth and brother Rex Clark. Dennis is survived by his 4 children, Christopher, Kevin, Bryan and Kathleen; and 3 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Milford.
Dennis proudly served in the Navy for eight years in Boiler Operations, became an Engineering Supply Petty Officer and MP Officer for 2 years; giving him the skills for work for the rest of his life. Dennis enjoyed writing poetry, reading, taking leisurely drives and enjoyed a margarita with his Mexican food. Dennis had a great laugh and had a heart of gold; he will be dearly missed.
A funeral will be held at the American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038. There will be a viewing Thursday, November 11th from 5:00pm-8:00pm and service Friday, November 12th at 10:15am with military honors held at the Houston National Cemetery.
