Debi Cole Holloway passed away at her home in Houston, TX on February 15, 2022. Debi was born on September 1, 1955 to Charles Ray Cole and Patsy Harwell Cole in Houston, TX. She married Larry Wayne Holloway of Houston, TX in 1975 and had two children, Charles Bradford Holloway and Brandi Elizabeth Holloway. Debi became “Mimi” in 2013 with the birth of Lauren Elizabeth Hinson and again in 2017 with the birth of Elijah Cole Hinson.
Debi was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many throughout her life. She possessed an unquenched zeal for life and learning. From her entrepreneurial pursuits, to her career in the legal profession, to her latest passion for real estate, Debi was always eager to try something new.
Debi’s anchor in life was her unwavering faith in God. She was a long-time member of the Southeast Church of Christ, and counted the people there as a part of her family. Second only to her faith, was her love and devotion to her family. Nothing on earth was more important to her than loving her family.
Debi is survived by her son, Brad Holloway and wife, Ashley; her daughter, Brandi Hinson and husband, Kevin; her two grandchildren, Lauren and Elijah Hinson; cousins, Candace Craig and husband, Robert, Kristen Alexander, her husband, Kyle, Kaden and Konner Alexander, and many more cherished family members.
A celebration of Debi’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 10:00 am at Southeast Church of Christ located at 2400 W. Bay Area Blvd., Friendswood, TX 77546. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Family Promise of Clear Creek in Debi’s honor.
