Deborah (Debbie) Jean Culpen, was born July 5, 1955 at St. Mary's hospital in Kansas City Missouri. She passed way in Houston, Texas on Friday, January 1, 2021 after a lengthy illness. She grew up in Overland Park and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1973.
She was preceded in death by her father Albert Zager. She is survived by her mother, Helen Zager of Kansas City, Missouri, three sons Daniel Pule (Debbie Swan) Westwood, Kansas, Max Pule (Johanna) Houston, Texas, Jacob Pule (Music), Cypress, Texas and two grandchildren, Jack and Mary Pule. She is also survived by a brother, Daniel Zager of Kansas City, Missouri, sisters Brenda Davis, Lenexa, Kansas and Anna Crossley, Shawnee, KS. as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a loving mother, a caring grandmother, a devoted daughter and sister and a devout Christian. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
