Debbie Delz Newman

In her youth she enjoyed various sports and cheering, but she was also very much into drawing and painting. She graduated from Dulles High School in Sugarland Texas. She started her first career as a drafter, but then becoming a loving mother and homemaker for a bit. She continued her schooling while being a full-time mom of 3 kids and graduated from the University of Houston with her degree in Pharmacy in 1991. She loved working in the medical profession and worked very hard at it.

Debbie loved many things, she loved to run, eating at Lupe Tortillas, decorating for Holidays, cooking excellent meals for friends and family. She enjoyed being at the beach and lake. Debbie loved attending her kids events and socializing with other parents.

She is proceeded in death by her loving husband Michael Newman, as well as her parents.

Survivors include, her three children Bert Gentles and wife Amy of Katy; Julie Denny and husband Stephen of New Braunfels; and Adam Gentles and wife Danielle of Tucson; brother Gary Delz and wife Sherrie of Georgetown; as well as 8 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home at 10AM on September 20th with Pastor Ben Spaulding officiating.

Pallbearers are Mike Gentles, Bert Gentles, Adam Gentles, Stephen Denny, Colten Jaeger, Evan Jaeger.
