Deanna De Los Santos

Deanna Banda De Los Santos, 78, of Houston, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on December 16, 1943, to Geronimo Banda and Matilde Contreras. She was married to Romolo Aguilar De Los Santos for 60 years. Deanna worked as a unit secretary and respiratory technician for Westbury Hospital, insurance administrator for McKesson Corporation, later UT Physicians, and retired in 2009.

Deanna was a quiet, intelligent, determined yet soft-spoken woman. She enjoyed collecting figurines, playing bingo, and watching all her favorite Spanish-speaking novellas. She loved being with her grandchildren and her family from Corpus Christi. She was preceded in death by her parents Geronimo Banda and Matilde Contreras; siblings Joe Garcia, Geronimo Banda, Jr., Gloria Garcia Lozano, Norma Banda, and Yolanda Banda Molina; grandson, Zacharia De Los Santos; and husband, Romolo De Los Santos. She is survived by her siblings, Rolando Banda, and Irma Banda Perales; son, Romolo De Los Santos, Jr.; daughter, Cynthia De Los Santos; granddaughter, Chelsea Cheramie; among numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, beginning with visitation at 9am, services at 10am, and burial at 11am at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, Texas 77077.
