Dean was born on January 26, 1962 in Houston TX to Brenda and Jimmie Davis and passed on August 3rd 2015 ironically 40 years to the day of his Baptism in 1975...he lived most of his life in the Houston and Conroe area then retired in Somerville, Tx He leaves behind his wife Loretta who he stated he loved more than anything in this world, mother Brenda who he honored, brothers Rodney and Wade who he respected, sisters Chere, Tina and Debbie that he loved very much. He has four children Danette, Daniel, Daylen and Dillon, and step children Brandie and Joshua. There are also 7 grand children Austin, Zachariah, Lexi, Kaitlyn, Khloe, Aubrey and Annabelle. He loved his children and adored his grandchildren. .He also loved the outdoors...hunting and fishing, working in the yard and hosting parties...he always said he loved being the hostess with the mostest always wanting to cook up some ribs, burgers or steaks and he could cook a great steak. Very rarely would you see him without that infectious smile and could hear that boisterous laugh for miles around. He had a strong love for animals; at one time he and Loretta had 5 cats, 6 dogs and 2 horses and 1 rooster by the name of Fred. He began late in life riding the trails on his horse Jack Daniels; go figure he would name his horse after a drink he loved...Dean could be a hard man but had a heart of gold and would do without rather than see someone else without. He was always starting projects and felt such a sense of accomplishment when finished...before his death he was working on restoring his boat.
