He was born in Houston, TX on February 4, 1953. David graduated from North Shore High Scholl and received an Associate Degree of Applied Science from Lee College.
David had a career in Analyzers as a Lab Technician for Shell Oil Company.
David had passion for music, Houston sports, NASCAR, fixing up old cars, the beach, reading books, vacationing with family, time in New Braunfels on the river, spending time with family and friends, crawfish and cold beer, steak and lobster, chicken fried steak, Tex-Mex and a margarita, cooking his mom’s potato pancake recipe, making ground bologna with his grandkids. Most of all he enjoyed bringing people together. He enjoyed drinking a cold beer and hanging out with family and friends. He was a all regional, first chair drummer for North Shore HS Band. He played pool with his buddies weekly.
He was survived by Jamey Adam Stanczak and fiancé Marian; Brian David Stanczak and wife Tiffenie; grandchildren: Jacob and fiancé Micaiah, Alexis and husband Bradley, Daisy and partner Anissa, Michael, Duke, Elijah, Savannah, Dionna, Daniella, Cailee, Dino, Adalinn. Great Grandchildren: Miguel, Matteo, Niklaus, Astrid, Elijah and Davina. Brother; Danny and wife Elizabeth, sister; Donna and husband Buce, brother; Drake and wife Lori. Nieces and Nephews; Heather, Jason, Carl; Jennifer, Melissa; Kristin, Raegan, Tyler; John, Bobby, grand nieces and grand nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
David is preceded in death by - Parents: Hank and Pat, Brother - Dennis, Granddaughter - Alexandra, and Great-grandson - Nathaniel.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:00 a.m., May 6, 2023 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
