David Garcia

He was the “Grand Patriarch” of a large, loving family. Those who have gone before and were awaiting his arrival were his parents, the “Grand Matriarch” his wife of 65 years Mamie Garcia, son David Lee Garcia, granddaughter Teresa Dawn Bumpers and so many others.

His role as “Grand Patriarch” will continue with our “Grand Matriarch” by his side to greet each of us as we are called “Home”.

Living each day with that assurance are daughters Rose Mary Garcia, Jane Stephanie Harvell-Fierro, Cathy Ann Knapp, 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren , 8 Great-Great Grandchildren, sister Maria Socorro Salinas and many other family members.

Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at St Patrick Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran St., Houston, Texas 77009. Rite of Committal will follow at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas
