Darlene Bradshaw

Darlene De La Portilla Bradshaw, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in Cypress, Texas. She was born June 19, 1963 in Houston, Texas to Frank and Consuelo Limon De La Portilla. Her mother, Connie De La Portilla, her brother, Frank De La Portilla and her maternal and paternal grandparents predeceased her. Darlene is survived by her husband of 30 years of marriage Joe A. Bradshaw; her father, Frank De La Portilla, Jr., her brother, Rene De La Portilla and his wife Dani; her sisters, Rita Harris and her husband Tom and Janet Marie De La Portilla; her nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins’ relatives and friends. Darlene was a member of Champion Forest Baptist Church in Jersey Village. She was a former bonding clerk with the Harris County Sheriff’s Department. Darlene was a loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt and loved by all who knew her. She was a loving and spoiling mother to her 3 four legged children (Pepe, Penny and Pablo). She was a lover of the holidays and birthdays, especially Christmas. She could not keep a secret regarding giving presents, (“You want to know what you are getting”). Loved to go to Bucee’s (Thought he was a “Cool Dude”). The tremendous amount of love and sincerity for her family and friends will be missed. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 5-9 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
