Daniel O. Thompson

Daniel’s life on earth was a happy one. He graduated from Cypress Ridge High School in Houston, Texas where he was known for dusting folks on the track and laughing while they tried to catch him on the football field. Daniel was coached by some of the finest coaches in Sacramento and Houston. These extraordinary people impacted his life tremendously.

To know Daniel is to love Daniel. He was our dancing machine, the life of the party. He would dance battle his nieces and nephews without pity, he’d never let them win. His heart was pure. He was genuinely a giver and protector. Daniel was all about family. He whole-heartedly and unconditionally loved all his siblings selflessly.

Daniel was a man of peace but a warrior at heart. Those who knew Daniel, danced with him, worked out with him, partied with him, took car rides with him, prayed with him, and loved him are truly mourning the loss of a king. He was destined for greatness.

He leaves to cherish his memories his soon to be daughter: Dakota Thompson, brothers: Reginald Thompson, Charles Thompson, Vondral Wright, Joshua Thompson, Jeremiah Thompson, Jonathan Thompson, Tyrone Tate , Michael Thompson , Isaiah Thompson , Isaac Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Joseph Thompson, and Elijah Thompson and sisters: Shekitha King, Regina Thompson, Cynthia Thompson, Kimberly Thompson, Lavera Thompson, Nykia Chaney, Sylvonna Thompson, Joyce Thompson, Samantha Thompson, Marjorie Thompson, Sonora Thompson ,and Aniyana Thompson, parents: Charles Thompson, Mary Thompson, and Delphine King as well as fifty five nieces and nephews.

Nothing eases the pain nor is there enough words to detail the value you had on our lives but know your memory will forever live on and folks will remember your name.

A viewing and gathering for Daniel will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Paradise Funeral Home, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. A committal service will occur Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Paradise Cemetery North, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088.
