It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Webb Kubeczka, a steadfast mother, grandmother, and sister, who departed this life on October 11, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on November 1, 1943, Cynthia was a lifelong resident of Houston, known for her unwavering faith, unyielding strength, and deep love for her family.
Cynthia embodied the essence of resilience, raising her children—Ronnie, Scott, Mark, and Chris—with a profound commitment to instilling values of integrity, hard work, and devotion. As a grandmother, she was not just a figure of love but a guiding light, sharing her wisdom and warmth with her grandchildren, who will cherish the lessons and laughter they shared.
Throughout her life, Cynthia faced challenges with grace and determination. Her laughter could brighten the darkest days, and her resilience served as an inspiring example for her children. She believed in the power of hard work and dedication, demonstrating this through her impressive 30-year career in the banking industry, where she achieved the remarkable status of Vice President—an extraordinary accomplishment in a male-dominated field.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Kubeczka, her son, Ronnie Kubeczka, her parents, Charles and Ruby and her brothers Charles, Jody and Larry. She is survived by her loving children, Scott (Alana), Mark (Crystal), and Chris, her cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Allison, Desairee, Emma, Mak, Kylee, and Caleb, and her sisters, Sandra Bobb and Debbie McCartney. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, integrity, and deep familial love that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation for Cynthia will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
Cynthia's spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, a shining example of strength, love. and integrity for generations to come. Rest in peace, dear Cynthia; you will be deeply missed.
