Corey Benjamin Cruz was born October 24, 1987. He is survived by his father Floyd Cruz Jr., his mother Mary Helen Corona, his brother Richard Corona wife Nancy nephews Andrew and Zachary Corona and niece Chloe Corona, brother Floyd Cruz III wife Krystal and niece Sophia Kinsley Cruz, brother Fredrick Eli Cruz and sister Andrea Marie Cruz.
Corey touched many lives with his loving spirit and smile. His passion for sports namely baseball and softball served as an avenue for him to meet so many people of whom many became very good friends. It was not until recently our family realized just how special Corey has been in so many people's lives. The out pouring of friends and their stories of their times with Corey has been nothing but happiness to the Cruz family. Corey was a fountain of inspiration, motivation and guidance for anyone who he crossed paths with.
Corey said it best: "I've learned that people will forget what you say, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel...."
