Cooper Mathew Garrison, born February 4, 2015, lost his battle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Saturday morning, July 11, 2015. Cooper was a brave little boy who taught us that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to make lasting memories. He loved animals, listening to music, going for walks and watching his all-time favorite “The Lego Movie.” With Cooper’s passing we want to remind everyone that his life is one to be celebrated. Cooper is survived by his loving parents, Kurt and Tricia Garrison; his fur brother and sister, Bella and Brady; Maternal grandparents, Chad and Carol Speich; paternal grandparents, Kevin and Marla Garrison and Barbara and Jim Haas; as well as great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and the awesome #TeamCooper family. Cooper’s love extends to his wonderful medical team who helped take amazing care of him throughout his journey. A funeral service will take place at Forest Park Lawndale on Wednesday July 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
