Never far from his motorcycle and always ready for a cruise on the open road, Chris was a big-time Harley rider and loved his bikes! His motto was “Work hard, ride hard, play hard. The hard life!” He was also a bonafide grill master, as he enjoyed barbecuing for family, friends, and coworkers. Chris was a quiet soul, who cherished the small pleasures of the world; fresh air, an evening breeze, and the sound of waves crashing on the shore.
Chris has been employed for the last 6 years, at Cypress Engine Accessories in Cypress, Texas where he found purpose as a service technician. Prior to that, he was partners with Bud in their carpet installation business, Father and Son Carpets.
Chris was a dedicated son, father, nephew, cousin, and friend. He is survived by his parents James (Bud) and Terri Thompson, Son Tyler Cruz, Grandfather Jim (Shelby) Thompson, Aunts and Uncles Linell and Jon Yaunke and Jeannie (Billy Stimpson) Thompson. Other surviving family members include Tina and Shawn Krolczyk, Jim and Mandy Yaunke, Jana Roach, Colton and Avery (Haden) Krolczyk, Marc and Chris King, Danielle Addington, Jessie, Rickie and Johnny Thompson.
