Christopher Lee Morris, 33, was born in Houston, TX on January 12, 1983 and departed this earth surrounded by love on April 14, 2016. Chris graduated from Alvin High School in 2001, received an Associate of Science in Fire Protection-Firefighting from San Jacinto College in 2003 and completed his dream of becoming a paramedic in the summer of 2005.
He worked at Shell Oil Company in Deer Park, TX where he was recently promoted from Emergency Response Assistant Team Lead to Project Safety Representative. In addition to Shell Oil, Chris served many communities as a paramedic and firefighter.
Chris married the love of his life, Jenny, in 2004 and together they have created a beautiful family. His greatest joys in life are their three children, Jacie May, Cole Thomas and Sadie M'Lynn.
Chris' hobbies included fishing, riding dirt bikes, shooting guns, and working on "Ol' Blue" his 1979 crew cab, 4-wheel drive, 1-ton Chevy truck.
Additionally, the family were active members at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kingwood, TX.
Chris will be forever loved by those of us that he left behind. He is preceded in death by his grandfather David Paulett, and is survived by his wife, Jenny, children, Jacie, Cole and Sadie, mother, Kathy Hubbard Morris, father, Terrence Lee Morris, step-mother, Jennifer Hawthorne Morris, twin sister, Jessica Morris, sisters, Amie Tow and husband Kyle Tow, McKenzie Morris and Madison Morris, brother, Johnny Morris, grandmother, Janet Paulett, grandparents, James Baker and Sue Baker, nephews, Arthur King and Oliver King, and niece, Isabel Taylor. He will also be missed by a large, loving extended family and a host of friends whose lives Chris has touched. These friends will always be considered as members of our family.
We can proudly say that Chris made a lasting impression on everyone he met with his charm, which was only surpassed by the size of his heart. His energy, mischief, kindness and zest for life are what his friends and family will remember the most.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting friends and family bring a bicycle helmet to the services. Helmets will be donated to a local charity.
Alternatively, the family is accepting donations to help cover expenses. Donations can be made at: https://www.youcaring.com/jennifer-morris-555338
