Charlsie/Chuck/Charles, you had a laugh that I will always remember and it will always make me smile. I had never seen such huge cigars until I saw you with one. The last time we spoke we ended with “I love you”. I will always love you.

Typical Charles. My dear friend and neighbor, Charles Dorsey, died Sunday on a full moon. Almost every day, we had an hour or so outside at our table. I've lived here for 10 years now, and Charles was here when I arrived. That's a lot of happy hours, more than 3500. That's a lot of hours spent together. I'm going to miss him so much. I already do as he has been in the hospital for a month now with no visits. He had a lot of medical issues that resulted in the loss of both his legs, multiple weekly dialysis trips, and he never complained. He was so positive, caring, smart, and grounded. He loved football, all sports, and politics. I'm so sorry to lose such a wonderful person from this world. I took these photos during one of our happy hours. Love you, Charles. I'll think of you every day during happy hour.
