Cassie R. Bartholomew

Cassie Renea Bartholomew (Bennett) born September 7, 1987 of New Orleans, LA passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in Houston, TX on Tuesday March 10th 2020. Cassie is preceded in death by her father Richard K. Bennett III (Anna-survived) of McComb, MS, her maternal grandmother Verna Ippolito of Jennings, LA and her paternal grandparents Richard and Judy Bennett of McComb, MS.

Cassie is survived by her husband Waylon Bartholomew of Houston, TX, her children Amber and Sam Aleman and Waylon and Alexander Bartholomew, who she loved more than anything, her Mother and father Susan and Donald Ballard of Houston, TX, sisters Christy (Gary) Kyzar of Houston, TX, Angel(Cody)McDaniel of McComb, MS and brothers Richard(Jessica)Bennett, Donnie(Chelsea)Ballard, Dustin(Jenna)Ballard all of Houston, TX, and John and Josh Koscho, of McComb, MS as well as her maternal grandfather John Ippolito of New Orleans, LA and a host of beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and too many close friends to begin to mention.

Cassie enjoyed a career in Oil and Gas and made many friends along the way, most of which she regarded as some of her closest. While Cassie called Houston home for most of her life, she did enjoy a childhood in the woods of Holmesville, MS surrounded by her siblings and closest cousins.

Cassie was loved by everyone who knew her. Her infectious smile and laugh insured she never met a stranger and her explosive personality insured she left her mark on everyone she encountered. While there are so many words that can be used to describe the amazing woman Cassie was, “Mommy” was her favorite.She will be missed. To the moon and back.

A public memorial service will be held: Sunday March 15th 2020, 2pm-5pm
