CARRIE ANN (BUSA) JANKOWSKI ,89, was born July 19,1921 in Stoneham, Texas where she worked the family farm and attended school through the ninth grade. Carrie died suddenly on Wednesday February 16, 2011. She was devoted to her Catholic Faith staying very busy in later life volunteering at Christ the King Church with the Altar and Rosary Society and serving as Eucharistic Minister. Carrie was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Gardening was a passion while baking and hand stitching were her loves as hobbies.
Carrie was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Jankowski, son, Thomas Jankowski, parents Mike and Clementine Busa, brothers Ralph and Jake Busa, and sister Angeline. She is survived by sisters Martha Hetmanick, Helen Baranowski , and Dorothy Hetmanick as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Surviving children are Virginia and Nick Diehl, Frances and Julian Zientek, Stan and LuAnn Jankowski, Mary and Billy Ingram, Veronica Boorom, and Patrick Jankowski.. She doted over her 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and relished their visits.
Visitation with the family is on Sunday February 20 from 2-5 p.m.

Interment will be at Forest Park Lawndale following Mass.
A reception will take place back at Christ the King Church immediately after the graveside service.
